Study #23 EDP 100ml
A fragrance like a newsletter, from where else but India. As the day declines, the sun slowly disappears and the scents of the evening come out to play. A nocturnal fragrance of combined scents. Flower petals, incense fumes, the warmth of wood and earth (almost reminiscent of a mystical church). Two young foreigners sit in India in a lotus flower, long hair flowing, garlands of patchouli leaves and yellow flowers - bohemian and alive with curiosity. Incense swirls through the air, the sound of the waves and the lounge bars of the nearby beach gently fill the air. Despite this the quiet mood is grounded, peaceful and completely undisturbed.
Top: Mystical Incense, Garland
Middle: Patchouli Leaf, Yellow Flowers, Myrrh
Base: Sandalwood, Smoked Cedar
HOW IT WEARS
Study No. 23/Newsletter is an Eau de Parfum that will most certainly give the wearer 8 hours worth of longevity on the skin, if not more. The rich spices, smoke and woods envelope you invitingly the entirety of its wear. Opening with a smoky intensity, Study No.23/Newsletter softens into a lustrous resinous woody scent.
We love the way this fragrance immediately whisks you away to an exotic spice market. Or perhaps, as it’s other name would suggest, a room above it. Through an open window streams warm sunlight, the scent of rich spices and sounds from the market below, mingling powerfully with mystical incense, while the well travelled author weaves tales into a newsletter of all the local goings on. Robust and powerful, vibrant and vivacious. Not a fragrance for the faint of heart.
ABOUT THE BRAND
Partners in life, artists and adventurers, Francis Miller and Patrick Bertaux opened a boutique in the Marais, Paris to share their inspiration; their wonderful finds with the world. From here, a fragrance collection was born. A series of stories, of experiences and of places brought to life in fragrance. “Fragrances for the body a appearance. “ The eclectic nature of their vision, and their trips translated into perfumes.
