Tales of Amber is a modern Ambergris perfume that reimagines the elemental beauty of nature. Blending rare New Zealand Ambergris with the iconic De Laire Amber 83 accord – a rich fusion of Labdanum and Vanillin – this Extrait de Parfum captures balsamic warmth, textured contrast, and sensual depth.

At its heart, Australian agarwood, orange blossom, and Iris reveal floral softness against sun-warmed earth and mineral skin. Notes of cinnamon and oud weave through the composition, adding a spicy, resinous layer to its ambery-woody soul.

Created by Goldfield & Banks’ founder Dimitri Weber in collaboration with French perfumer Suzy Le Helley, Tales of Amber balances innovation and tradition, drawing inspiration from the ocean’s mystery and Australia’s wild botanicals. HOW IT WEARS
Upon spraying Tales of Amber, you’re immediately hit with the De Laire Amber 83 note – warm, resinous, almost balsamic. As it begins to settle, butter orris smooths everything out while orange blossom sweetens and brightens the composition slightly, which is made more complex by the spices. Once it’s sat on the skin for a while is when you pick up the Ambergris; salty, musky, and irresistable, enrichened by ever so slightly animalic oud. This fragrance, while strong, never feels overwhelming, but also wears for hours and hours on the skin.
