Description

Violet is a staple of the perfumer’s palette, deep, rich and alluring. Like all Demeter florals, with Violet they sought to recreate the experience of the living flower, not some reduced, redacted or perfumed version of it.

HOW IT WEARS
Violet smells like the real thing in nature: soft, powdery and sweet, with a slight earthy green edge. As an EDC it has a light but impactful wear.

LORE LOVES
Fun fact: violets are a silent flower – meaning it’s actually impossible to extract scent from them for the purposes of perfumery. We think that makes it all the more impressive that Demeter was able to create a scent so realistic!

Demeter

Named after the Greek goddess of agriculture, Demeter Fragrance Library was founded in 1996 with a mission to capture the beautiful smells of the garden and nature in the form of wearable fragrance. Demeter is now a family-owned and operated business with all their products finished and batched by hand in Pennyslvania, USA. All of their fragrances are at least 95% derived from natural and sustainable sources and are not tested on animals.
