In 2025, Fragonard celebrates Lemon Blossom! Bursting with sparkling freshness, this citrus blossom with its invigorating scent exudes delicate floral and citrusy facets.

“For Fleur de Citronnier, I wanted a very fresh perfume, with a transparent floral heart, a subtly woody and musky base, along with some fruity facets.” – Nose behind the fragrance, perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni.

As she explains, the next challenge was to add longevity to the Lemon Blossom fragrance: “Citrus notes are extremely volatile and don’t last on the skin. It’s up to us perfumers to find a way to make them linger. That’s the role of the elegant base provided by Virginian cedarwood, white amber, and white musk. The goal was to preserve the vibrancy of the top notes while making them tenacious.”

HOW IT WEARS
Fleur de Citronnier opens vibrant and zesty with a burst of lemon, both amplified and complemented by grapefruit, petitgrain, lime and orange. As the fragrance wears, it becomes sweeter and fruiter – you begin to pick up the sweet warmth of jasmine and the crisp green apple. For an EDT, Fleur de Citronnier lasts really well, due to the cedarwood, musk and amber in the base. We get a good 6 hours out of this fragrance on the skin!

LORE LOVES
Fragonard hasn’t had a bad Flower of the Year to date and this one is no exception. We all know it’s difficult to make a citrus last, but the addition of fruit, florals and musks in the base together elongate the wear of Fleur de Citronnier impressively. It’s fresh, optimistic and uplifting, and we think would be an awesome layering fragrance, but it definitely stands up by itself!
