Jade and Jess here! Happy International Women’s Day. What a fabulous day to celebrate our female-owned, led, and run business. We are so grateful for all of the amazing women who support us and help keep Lore running. Today we’re talking about why we do what we do. And in a few days, we’ll hand it over to our incredible team so stay tuned for that.
As we gear up for the fragrance frenzy that is International Fragrance Day 2023, we wanted to take a moment to catch up. To those of you who are new here, welcome! We are so humbled that you have chosen to jump on board this scented adventure with us. And to those who have been here a while, thank you. We are always so grateful to have created the most incredible community at Lore.
This Is Us
We are in year 6 of Lore and we passionately love what we do. The love of fragrance runs deep over here! The connections, emotions, memories, stories, there are so many reasons to love fragrance. For us, it’s really about the connection, that moment you can see in someone’s eyes that they have been transported to another time, place or dimension with a sniff.

Why Lore?
Lore truly is an exceptional space that we have put our heart and soul into creating. We put a little spunk into our scent and our story-telling and our drive is to make the world of perfumery fun and playful, inclusive and educational.
We believe that fragrance is something that can and should be enjoyed by everyone; there’s no need for exclusivity or pompous attitudes. Don’t you agree that snooty rules, secrecy and pretentious attitudes take the fun outta something that should be an absolute expression of who you are?
And that’s what fragrance is – an extension of who you are. Another reason why we love it so much.
