Jade – Tulita Vikasa
Ever since starting Lore I have always gravitated to a rose fragrance, and things haven’t changed after all these years. Vikasa from Tulita is my ultimate power, boss, rose fragrance! Cultivating the heart chakra, this fragrance gives me a boost of self-love and confidence. Sparkly, romantic and pretty with a luxurious rich base. YUM!🌹
Jess – Imaginary Authors Saint Julep
I just love this fragrance SO much! I would bathe in it if I could, haha. The perfect scent to celebrate our birthday, as it smells like the most delicious and refreshing minty cocktail (in other words a Saint Julep, surprise surprise!). Kind of sweet with the sugar and bourbon, but crisp and refreshing with mint and citrus, this is the perfect scent to cheers to 8 years!
Laura – Carthusia Mediterraneo
Mediterraneo has been one of my favourite fragrances since I started at Lore. An instant mood booster, its combination of sparkling citrus fruits and refreshing herbs (specifically the wild mint) instantly brightens your day, so I like to spritz this fragrance whenever I’m feeling a little down. If you can’t make it to the isle of Capri for summer, Mediterraneo is the next best thing!
Courtney – Goldfield & Banks Southern Bloom
Southern Bloom from Goldfield and banks is an absolute staple for me. When I have no idea what to wear she is always my go-to. It feels luxurious and easy wearing but super quirky with the Boronia Absolute , a dazzle of coconut and a grounded hint of amber, honestly I can not go past her!
Clea – Ficifolia Out of Office
Felicity – Room 1015 Electric Wood
This is such a powerfully tactile scent to me. Electric Wood recreates Dr Mike’s pivotal memory of opening a guitar case for the very first time. When I smell this, I’m met with a jolt of rich cedar wood, sweet resins and a definite metallic twang. There’s something uniquely grounding about being with an instrument. Nutmeg and iris give a soft powderiness, and ambroxan lends that well-worn, skin-like feel. It wears like an old friend – comforting and restorative, leaving you charged with new ideas and fresh energy.
Piper – The Raconteur Religious Guilt Spritz
My absolute favourite things in the world are fragrance and cinema, and Religious Guilt Spritz is a beautiful representation of one of my favourite films, Heretic (2024). A boozy, smokey mix of temptation to “sin” or the path of “faith”. An inviting scent moving into the winter months, and perfect to layer with any other Raconteur fragrances.
Pia – Room 1015 Hollyrose
This is an ode to the rock n roll muses of the 70’s and has such a delicious mix of a feminine jammy rose, with rough and street-smart leather notes. Just like any muse, Hollyrose also has an extra sparkle to it. Something that you (and I) can’t resist, a special something that keeps you coming back for more. The pepper and blackcurrant notes fuse the rose and leather together perfectly, giving it that elusive je ne sais quoi.
