The newest addition to the Lore Perfumery family has just arrived – Rahaysa – and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce them to you!
Founded in 2024 by three childhood friends, Rahasya is all about embodying the modern Indian identity through fine fragrance.
As Indian expats living in Singapore, Sai, Sachit and Utkarsh were always looking for ways to connect to home, and found that scent was a great way of doing that. As they became more immersed in the world of fragrance, they noticed that while there were a lot of brands using Indian aesthetics and ingredients as marketing tools, there wasn’t an independent Indian fine fragrance house providing an authentic representation of the country that has a perfume history dating back thousands of years.
So, the three left their corporate jobs and founded Rahasya with a view to create fragrances that felt authentic, nuanced, fresh and modern; fragrances that rejected stereotypes and instead encapsulated the real contemporary India. Each scent is inspired by the founders’ own experiences and memories of their home country, but also draws on Indian art, music and culture. The result is a range of fragrances with originality, vibrance and an undeniable appeal. THE COLLECTIONS
Rahasya’s fragrances are so far presented in two collections – the Debut Collection and the Magizhchi (மகிழ்ச்சி) Collection.
The Debut Collection takes inspiration from the personal memories and experiences of the founders, their olfactory interpretations of home.
Each scent in this collection is drawn from moments of warmth, introspection, joy, and celebration.
The Magizhchi (மகிழ்ச்சி) Collection is inspired by the fleeting everyday moments of joy that anchor us, capturing a different side of India, not as a place on a map, but as a feeling. The kind of joy found in the in-betweens of daily life, that returns to us in flashes, moments, and fragments.
THE DEBUT COLLECTION
CHAPTER ONE
An ode to India’s small independent bookshops. A fresh, spicy, leathery fragrance reminiscent of the scent of books.

LOVE MARRIAGE
Inspired by the exuberance and grandeur of Indian weddings, this is a vibrant floral gourmand fragrance that embodies notions of love, culture and celebration.

CUTTING RAIN
Dedicated to the joy brought on by the arrival of monsoon season in India, where summer heat disperses and green rejuvenation occurs. A fresh, sweet, earthy fragrance.

OUD MANGIFERA
An olfactory celebration of the King of Fruits, mango. Blended with incense, oud and tea as a nod to the trade routes it passed through as it travelled the world.

THE MAGIZHICHI COLLECTION
CHAI ADDICTION
Chai… but make it perfume. This is a fragrant embodiment of the daily Indian ritual, social glue, a warm cup passed around between loved ones.

HILL STATION
Drawn from the picturesque scenery of India’s hill stations, where trains stop amid verdant greenery. A fragrance of mist clinging to moss, smoke from a distant stove, the scent of wet earth and old wood.

RICKSHAW RHYTHMS
An homage to the carefree rush of weaving through traffic on a rickshaw, engulfed by the comfort of the nearby ocean’s rhythmic waves, refreshing and relaxing simultaneously.
