The second fragrance in the 32.JULI collection, 32°C is like the stillness of midday heat. The sun has reached its highest point. The air shimmers and warmth settles deep into the skin. The familiar scent of sunscreen drifts through the air, awakening dreams of faraway lands.
Inspired by the German concept of “fernweh” (a quiet longing for distant places and warmer climates), 32°C is less about a destination, more about a subtle shift in perspective that makes you wonder what lies just beyond the horizon.

HOW IT WEARS
Opening with sparkling, spicy ginger and fresh, clean white tea, you pick up the subtle creaminess of sun lotion for just a second before 32°C reveals its heart notes. There lie the intoxicating tropical white florals and creamy coconut, which melt seamlessly into the skin. Smooth, milky sandalwood, vanilla and musk provide a skin-like, sensual base for a fragrance that smells like clean skin on a summer holiday.
LORE LOVES
To us, 32°C smells like skin moisturised with a luxurious body butter or oil, which has now been warmed by the heat of the sun. Hamburg where 32.JULI is based does actually have a beach, which is quite central, so this could be the fragrance of being outside in summer in Germany, but also given so much of the year is cooler in Germany, founder Juli said this fragrance is mostly a way to overcome “fernweh”. For us Australians this is an easy summer scent, but because it’s so warming and skin-like, we can also use it to overcome winter blues!
