LONG AGO… In the South Pacific, mystical maidens lived beneath the waves. These maidens were called sea-daughters, famously known as Mer-maids. They are beautiful, often depicted with a magnificent tail, combing their long flowy hair. The Monoï de Tahiti mixture of tiaré (gardenia) blossoms and Polynesian coconut oil, was used to protect their hair and skin from harsh sun rays, insects and salt water. This tradition was passed down to their daughters and has existed for thousands of years.
Key Ingredients: This tropical, sea infused blend of Monoï oil, sea water, ocean pearls and gluten-free soy amino acids create healthy, volumising, sea-winded waves with a matte finish – perfect for soft, touchable waves. The natural UV protection of meadowfoam oil guards against the drying effects of the sun.
Monoï oil is composed of two unique ingredients:
1. Tiaré, the ‘beauty flower’; rich in active compounds, known for its soothing and purifying properties.
2. Polynesian Coconut, the ‘white gold’; a silky, refined coconut oil that is exclusively grown on the coral soil of French Polynesia.
