Created as an ode to America’s most intriguing First Lady of the 20th century Jacqueline Kennedy. Love In Black evokes Jacqueline Kennedy’s enigmatic beauty: her dark, mysterious eyes behind black sunglasses, her wavelets of brunette hair, her trim shape in a black sheath. To create Love In Black, Creed blended ingredients from places loved by this well-travelled and cultured woman. Even the bottle is made with black sand like that in the Greek isles where she wed a legendary shipping tycoon. The Night Blooming Wildflowers are also from the Greek isles where she was wed, Violet is from Italy, where she later visited, Iris from Florence, a favourite city of hers, and finally Blackcurrant from Bourgogne in her beloved France where her ancestors were born. Created for seduction rather than innocence, this globetrotting Violet based scent is sophisticated and intriguing.

HOW IT WEARS
Love in Black is an Eau de Parfum that will easily give the wearer at least 6 – 8 hours wear on the skin. The initial aura of elegant Violet combined with Cloves, giving it a dry down effect that is both deeply powdery and intricate. One of the truest Violet fragrances, Love in Black allows you to experience and appreciate the beautiful Violet in all its entirety.
We love how this Violet heavy scent creates an air of rich sophistication that hints at a combination of sweet softness and subtle power. Like an iron fist of violet in a black velvet glove. Love in Black turns the classic and delicate Violet note into more powerful and seductive Violet that is truly unique and mesmerising.
