Ambergris is an iconic and historical fragrance note, a natural target for Demeter Fragrance Library.

A whale by-product sometimes referred to as “floating gold”, ambergris is famous for its alluring and sensual musky scent. It has been used in perfumery as far back as the 10th century AD, its rarity making it one of the most sought-after perfume ingredients to this day! 

While of course Demeter’s Ambergris is synthetic, it has created a perfect interpretation of that animalic musk smell so unique to the original. 

HOW IT WEARS
This Eau de Cologne is musky, salty and a little sweet, capturing the elusive scent of ambergris brilliantly. Complemented by a whisper of vanilla to amplify its creaminess, Ambergris is a wonderful skin scent that gently envelops the wearer for 3-4 hours.
