Some years back Heretic stumbled upon Bill Crisafi’s illustrations and were immediately enamored with his work and the innate wit, whimsy and irreverence that makes them iconic and unforgettable. A tribute to the season, the Slut for October candle is a collaboration between artists obsessed with autumn and its sensory magic. The fragrance evokes the magic of Bill’s childhood memories of Massachusetts in autumn.

The Slut for October Candle captures the sinister curl of burning leaf piles, the brittle sigh of sun-scorched grass beneath your feet, and the ripe, bruised sweetness of apples abandoned to the orchard floor. Beneath it lingers the slow, decadent perfume of decay, a fragrance both dreadful and divine. This is not autumn as the living know it. This is October, unmasked,  mischievous, depraved, and utterly irresistible.
