Rose Magnitude is a modern rose perfume that reimagines one of perfumery’s most iconic flowers through the untamed landscapes of Australia. Inspired by the surreal beauty of a pink salt lake beneath pastel skies, this Eau de Parfum captures a rose far from cultivated gardens, textured, luminous, and unexpectedly wild.

Created by Goldfield & Banks’ founder Dimitri Weber in collaboration with French perfumer Clément Marx of Robertet, Rose Magnitude balances traditional elegance with modern fierceness – it’s creamy yet airy, spicy yet tender. A fragrance of contrasts, intimate yet diffusive, soft yet powerful, shaped by earth, wind, and magnitude.

HOW IT WEARS
Opening with the juicy radiance of fresh, sweet raspberry and a sparkle of spice from just a tiny bit of cumin, it doesn’t take long before Rose Magnitude reveals its luminous floral heart notes. In this heart, Damask rose and violet bloom together, creating a rich, velvety effect, enhanced by buttery orris (which makes up most of the wear of the fragrance). In the base, dry buckwheat and papyrus lie down on a creamy bed of sandalwood, vanilla and tonka for an elongated wear that goes for hours on end.

We have been so excited for the launch of Rose Magnitude, as it’s a little bit of a departure from anything Goldfield & Banks has done before. Part of their Botanical Series, this fragrance has a higher parfum concentration and a palpably luxurious feel. It’s almost like a confit rose, distilled down to the rose’s best bits – its spicy, sweet, and jammy qualities. However, this fragrance isn’t “juicy”, it’s more marshmallow-y – plush, sweet and fluffy with a real earthy depth to it. A resilient rose that despite its extreme surroundings blooms with fabulous magnitude.
