NEW FORMULATION!
A luxe warm spicy wood scent to hold your deepest, darkest secrets.
Hinoki Fantôme opens with the sweet-spicy glow of cardamom and pear—warm, bright and a little unexpected. It settles into calming hinoki and dry cedarwood with earthy oakmoss and smoked amber lingering softly in the background. Woodsy, balanced and just the right amount of mysterious. Bc staying grounded is the new flex.
“Hinoki Fantôme is my take on capturing the serene and sacred essence of the hinoki forest in a bottle. I wanted to bring that grounding, meditative feeling to life, starting with the smooth, resinous warmth of Japanese hinoki wood. As it develops, you get these earthy layers of tobacco leaves, oakmoss, and a touch of smoked leather that give it a rich, complex depth. The orris and patchouli smoke add a little mystery, making it complex but still so easy to wear. It’s a fragrance that feels like a quiet escape – a way to take that peaceful, wood-smoked vibe with you wherever you go.” – perfumer, Elena Valdivieso-Ruiz.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Welcome to Boy Smells 2.0 – same perfumers, new formulas and packaging! Long-lasting scents, more approachable smells and a balanced final formula. Boy Smells 2.0 is just that: bolder, bigger and more balanced.
In late 2015, Boy Smells began as an experiment in candle-making in the Los Angeles kitchen of co-founders and partners Matthew Herman and David Kien. Herman and Kien began by making the things they’d want to use daily – products that were fluid, essential, but also accessible.
Each fragrance draws inspiration from the founders’ memories and experiences, but also takes into account the context and history attached to different smells. Each Boy Smells fragrance is like the complex identity of a person, full of dualities and contradictions, and because of that, wearing them allows you to reinforce your sense of self every day before you walk out the door.
Bold, boundary-breaking, and beautifully in-between. Boy Smells are rooted in genderfulness – not as a passing trend, but as a constant way of being.
