I absolutely can’t live without my Mad Hippie Cleansing Oil (all year round really) but most especially at this time of the year when the temperature fluctuations between indoors and out can be so confusing and dehydrating on the skin. With the magical number of 8 natural actives including: Ginger Extract for calming and soothing, Rosehip Oil for it’s dual antioxidant goodness of both vitamins A and C, and the replenishing omega fatty acids and Vitamin E of Pumpkin Seed Oil, this awesome oil does more than its fair share of keeping my more mature/combination skin clean, hydrated and happy! Oh, and did I mention it does a stellar job of removing my make up as well? What’s not to love?

The Jelly Cleanser is fantastic for removing a light “clean girl” makeup look – SPF, sunscreen, CC or BB cream and a lick of mascara. This is the cleanser I use when I’m not wearing makeup and don’t need something as heavy duty as the Oil Cleanser. It’s kind of like a less thick version of the Oil Cleanser, so perfect for those who don’t like a super-rich oil consistency. Because it’s a gel/jelly, it doesn’t leave any oily residue, so it’s the perfect second cleanser if you do a double cleanse. Your skin is left feeling moisturised and supple after using it, but super clean too!

The absolute best exfoliation I have done in a long time – my skin feels soft and smooth and it looks so fresh without any redness. Love this as a once a week treat for my skin.

I have super oily skin which requires a lot of exfoliation to avoid congestion, but I’ve found that super strong and astringent exfoliators can also make my skin red and irritated. The 2 Minute Polishing mask is the best of both worlds, as it helps me to scrub away dead skin and the gunk which accumulates from being in the city every day, but also restores moisture and plumpness with oat flower and matcha green tea. Clean pores without feeling frizzled, it’s a win win. Plus, as the formula comes in a powder form to which you add water, one bottle keeps you going for forever, and you can adjust how thick and grainy you want the texture to be. Polished n’ perfect!

The Vitamin C Serum gives me hydration that sinks in quickly and it sits beautifully under makeup. I love knowing that not only is this serum making my skin look better instantly, but it’s also having a cumulative effect, brightening, strengthening and protecting my skin in the long term. My skin saw a lot of sun in my teens so it can use all of the help it can get these days.

As someone who has never used an eye cream before (sorry, skincare gods!) this product has completely revolutionised my skincare routine. I have been struggling with dry under eyes recently, and as someone with super sensitive skin, I was nervous about using a new product in such a sensitive area. The Mad Hippie Eye Cream is super gentle – the calming chamomile, Vitamin E and ceramides mean that not only is my eye area soothed but hydrated as well. Not only that, but any sunken-ness or bags I had in the area have completely disappeared. I like to take the cream up onto my eyelids as well as they are often a little raw after I take my eye makeup off, and I wake up with smooth, hydrated, and soothed skin in the entire area after application. I can’t recommend it enough!
