HOW IT WEARS
Risso begins with a bright, radiant symphony of citrus – mainly neroli to our noses, but also green petitgrain and bigarade (bitter orange). The crisp edges of the citrus are enhanced by piney mastic and fir needles, before the fragrance starts to get a bit more soapy. Orange flower and oleander create a fluffy, powdery, classically sudsy effect, like you’re splashing around in a bubble bath. Pear adds sweetness, accented by angelica and ambrette seed, which keep that kind of bubbly, buoyant feeling going. The wear of Risso isn’t linear (like all Jorum fragrances), instead along the way you pick up powdery, vegetal facets of carrot, the earthy greenery of olive and the smoothness of pearwood. At the end of the wear, you’re left with a clean-skin feeling like you’ve just had the best shower ever.

LORE LOVES
Risso, for us, is the fragrance equivalent of an “everything shower”. You’ve washed your hair and body, stepped out onto the fluffy bath mat, and slipped into clean clothes (probably linen). On one hand, it’s clean, crisp and sparkling, but on the other it’s soapy, powdery and botanical. It’s a Jorum take on a classic orange blossom – modernised and reinterpreted for a contemporary audience. Risso is a ray of sunshine, a breath of fresh air, clean comfort… bottled.
