It’s summertime so what better time to talk about fragrances that smell like sunshine! How do we quantify certain fragrances smell like sunshine? Well, we cant! But what we can do is give you our opinion on fragrances that have that perfectly sunny disposition, scents that do to the soul what sunshine also does. Scents that leave your heart happy. Scents that are the olfactory equivalent to a golden ray of sunshine!
So these are Courtney’s interpretation of sunshine scents – they are full of zest and life and joy…perfection!
The Raconteur Lemonade Grenade – A zesty and zingy citrus fragrance that smells like a cocktail in the sense of a twisted lemon on top of your martini. It’s sophistication and class yet also super exciting!
Chasing Scents Bitter Melon Tea – This is a bit more of a quirkier. So think feeling like you are in the harsh heat of the desert and all you need is something to keep you going… This is kind of sour, with juicy lemons and melons bubbling under the sunshine.
Demeter Fragrance Library Sunshine – How could we not include this fragrance? It is essentially the fragrance of your favourite white cotton t-shirt drying on the line with the warm sun on it. It’s clean with a hint of sweetness, comforting and uplifting.
