HOW IT WEARS
Beginning with a jammy berry compote like you’d find in a super fancy lamington cake, it doesn’t take long before the rich and decadent cream-topped-cocoa comes to the fore in Lord Lamington. As it wears, you pick up the more aromatic notes – the coconut, clary sage and white cypress work together to ground the fragrance on skin and provide an earthy edge for the sweeter, more gourmand notes. With a strong projection, Lord Lamington gives us 6-8 hours of utterly gourmet wear on the skin.

LORE LOVES
While Lord Lamington does certainly contain gourmand elements representative of a lamington cake, we wouldn’t call this fragrance literal. Like the perfect dessert, it’s not too sweet, and those earthier notes used to balance the sweeter ones are what makes this fragrance so compelling and unique. Like all Raconteur fragrances, it has a sense of fun and playfulness about it, but it also has this richness and intensity that would suit any Lord or Lady who chooses to don it!

ABOUT THE BRAND
Founded in 2019 by Craig Andrade, The Raconteur (“The Storyteller”) is an artisanal luxury fragrance brand specialising in Australian native botanicals and plant extracts.
Having attended one of the world’s most prestigious fragrance schools in Grasse, France, and trained by Elise Pioch Balzac, Andrade knows his perfume. Working with world leader in natural perfumery, Mandy Aftel, he has created Australian botanical extracts and fragrances for use in collaboration with Troye Sivan for Tsu Lange Yor, Paspaley and Cult Design.

As a fragrance house, The Raconteur is about telling the story of the scent of Australia – a story about the quiet beauty of what was always there. They aim to not only showcase the better-known Australian botanicals (sandalwood, boronia, lemon myrtle, etc) but the rarer ones too – Australia has over 18,000 unique native botanicals, and new ones are being discovered all the time!
All of The Raconteur fragrances are plant-derived, comprised of of a blend of natural and safe synthetic ingredients, and are all vegan and cruelty free.
