HOW IT WEARS
Opening with bright, juicy, mandarin and bergamot and mineral notes, the first sniff of Starfucker reminds you of a fruity sparkling rosé with candy floss on top of it – before the warmth of saffron beckons in the heart and base notes. The intoxicating tart fruitiness of pomegranate melds with plush, dewy rose to create an intense and rich composition that lasts on the skin all the way to the top, however you get there.

This is one powerful scent! Starfucker is kind of everything you’d expect it to be – loud, unsubtle, and unapologetically femme. This is the fragrance of the new and upcoming Hollywood darling, whose every red carpet photo is immaculate, whose look and aura is as intoxicating as their talent. Callum has said the story of Persephone from Greek mythology partially inspired this fragrance – imagine Persephone of a starlet who gets trapped in hell… otherwise known as Hollywood.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Perdrisât is the brainchild of Callum Mitchell; designed, hand-made and bottled in Melbourne, Australia. Born in 2019 and then released to the public in 2022, the brand name comes from Callum’s maternal grandmother, a woman who to him was the epitome of elegance but at the same time had a wicked sense of humour.
Callum comes from a filmmaking background, which is apparent in every Perdrisât fragrance – each one is a character or a vignette, a closeup scene with vivid imagery. While Callum has his own stories and associations attached to each scent, he invites the wearer to bring their own interpretation to the table, as you would when you watch a film.
With a conceptual, fun and tongue-in-cheek approach to perfumery, Perdrisât doesn’t follow trends or seasons. You never know when a muse might appear, so like writing a poem or taking a portrait, Callum aims to respect the unpredictability of inspiration. There is no telling how many stories there are to share, scenes to capture, or memories to be bottled.
With a slow approach to perfumery, Perdrisât aims to avoid overproduction, manufactured in small batches by Callum. Vegan and cruelty-free, each fragrance in the line is formulated with a combination of naturals and safe synthetics (no parabens, sulfates, or endocrine disrupting ingredients). Perdrisât fragrances have a parfum concentration of 22-30% – so on the stronger and longer-lasting side!
