HOW IT WEARS 
Oud for Greatness is definitely not your typical oud scent! It opens crisp and aromatic with herbal lavender and the dry spice of nutmeg before you pick up the saffron note – mineral, warm and even a little leathery. Then comes the oud, which is not a super dirty, animalic oud, it’s a little more restrained and refined. It’s resinous, woody, warm, a little sweet, earthen, but most of all, powerful!

If you’re making your first foray into the world of oud, we think Oud for Greatness is a great option. It’s bold in both the longevity and projection department, but is blended in a way that it never feels overwhelming or too much. It has a really luxurious feel to it – after all, it’s formulated with some of the most rare and expensive ingredients in the perfumer’s palette. Therefore, wearing it does really help to instil a sense of confidence – you feel powerful but not domineering, you make a statement without needing to scream. The “Greatness” was already there within you, this fragrance just accentuates it. 

ABOUT THE BRAND
Since 2015, Initio Parfums Privés has been a pioneer in the world of functional fragrance. They view perfume as an object of transformation; something that can influence how you feel both physically and mentally.
The limbic system, located deep within your brain, is the control centre of emotion. It processes scents, sounds, memories, and very importantly, your unconscious. Studies show that up to 75% of daily emotions can be triggered by scent unconsciously.
