Hill Station is part of Rahasya’s Magizhchi Collection, inspired by the fleeting everyday moments of joy that anchor us, capturing a different side of India, not as a place on a map, but as a feeling. The kind of joy found in the in-betweens of daily life, that returns to us in flashes, moments, and fragments.
If you’ve ever been to a hill station in India, you’ll know the feeling of stillness before the town wakes, the soft chirping of birds hidden within trees in the distance, and the mix of cold and dewy air on your skin. And always, that particular smell: mist clinging to moss, smoke from a distant stove, the scent of wet earth and old wood.
Hill Station is Rahasya’s love letter to those kinds of mornings, slow, quiet, and full of clarity. It’s a celebration of being in the present, disconnected from the chaos of the outside world, and a chance to enjoy the peace of reflection.

HOW IT WEARS
The fragrance opens with a cool rain accord and black tea, reminiscent of the damp air early in the morning. In the mid notes, petrichor and spice add an earthy depth, evoking freshly rained-on soil, and trees awakening. The base layers sandalwood, vetiver, and a touch of ambergris, which lends the scent a green and fresh balance.
ABOUT THE BRAND
Founded in 2024 by three childhood friends, Rahasya (meaning mystery/secret/enigma in Hindi/Sanskrit) is all about embodying the modern Indian identity through fine fragrance.
Singapore-based founders Sai, Sachit and Utkarsh were Indian expats always looking for ways to connect to home when they discovered the transportive powers of scent. As they became increasingly passionate about fragrance, they noticed that despite India’s rich perfume history, it wasn’t represented in the global fine fragrance market. So, all three of them left their corporate jobs in Singapore to put Indian-inspired niche fragrances on the map!
Rahasya reflects a contemporary India, taking inspiration from its new-age music, art, and culture. It’s a rejection of stereotypes, of identity being reduced to aesthetic – instead, it’s a reclamation of authenticity and of nuance. Each fragrance heroes Indian ingredients, creating olfactory imagery that’s deeply rooted in the founders’ own experiences and memories of India.
Perfumer Kajal Gujar has crafted each Rahasya fragrance with a unique, vibrant and unapologetically bold style, resulting in scents that have remarkable appeal – both to Indians worldwide, and to people of other backgrounds who connect to them.
