- Description
Daintree Raintree is a part of The Raconteur’s second collection inspired by the connections between us, where each fragrance requires you to lean in and be fully present in the process of experiencing it. The collection turns the genre of “gourmand” fragrances right on its head, breaking perfumery norms to deliver a range of fragrances that is completely unique and interesting, not to mention tasty! Still deeply connected to its Australian roots, iconic Australian symbols and botanicals are featured throughout this collection, adding to the sense of connectedness the fragrances themselves foster.
No rush, no sound, just the tide pullin’ in. Drops hit the leaves like a secret hymn. Let them fall, let them cleanse, let them soak through your bones. Take a sip, let it slip, you are never alone.
Touched by grave in the curve of a tree, you’re in me and I’m in everything I see. Need no words when the moment speaks, the quiet knows what the seeker seeks.
Even when we’re on our own, we’re never truly alone. We’re united though our shared appreciation of the higher intelligence of Mother Nature. Daintree Rain Tea is a scent for those who enjoy the nectar of this sweet truth.

HOW IT WEARS
Daintree Rain Tea is a tranquil aromatic fragrance that transports you straight to Australia’s iconic tropical Daintree Rainforest. Beginning fresh, crisp and aquatic like a cascading waterfall in the middle of a green oasis, you immediately pick up bergamot, rainforest leaves and sea salt, before the fragrance begins to settle and sweeten a little. Chamomile, black tea and honeyed blue lotus flower sit in the heart of Daintree Rain Tea, warming it up a little, like golden sun rays peaking through the foliage of rainforest trees and ferns. The dry down reveals spiced, grassy vetiver and earthy buddawood which ground the scent like a forest floor. Overall, Daintree Rain Tea is pretty light – it has subtle projection but great lasting power, we get 4-6 hours of wear on the skin.
LORE LOVES
Daintree Rain Tea is the perfect fragrance to wear when life is feeling a little overwhelming, when the hustle and bustle of the everyday is tiring you out. It’s refreshing, green and aromatic, but still slightly sweet, like a spoonful of botanical honey in a cup of herbal tea. We think this fragrance is best experienced when you take some time out of your day to apply it – couple spritzing it with a breathing exercise or a yoga sequence.
