Prickly Pear is a unique scent in that it is fruity, but not sweet. Instead, Prickly Pear leaves you cool, crisp and invigorated.

Really disappointed in this fragrance!
I have two other Demeter fragrances (Honeysuckle and Thunderstorm) which are such lovely scents and wonderful recreations of their namesakes. But this fragrance, Prickly Pear, smells nothing like prickly pear fruit. It smells like Shampoo! I feel in love with the prickly pear fruit when I was in California, where they grow everywhere, and was so excited to see it here. Really upset that this fragrance is such a poor adaptation.
I don’t think I will be wearing this scent. Unless I want to trick someone in to thinking I have washed my hair when, in reality, I haven’t.
