Leone 1857

Leone 1857

Since 1857, the Leone confectionery company has been the epitome of luxury confectionary, creating a quality that has remained unchanged over the decades.
A very sweet story, it was in 1857 when Luigi Leone, in a confectionery shop near Alba (in the North of Italy), began producing small, fragrant digestive pastilles to delight his loyal customers after meals. The aroma of his creations spread, captivating the entire city: among the first admirers were illustrious figures such as Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour, a lover of violet gummies, and the Royal House. Leone thus became the official supplier to the Royal House of Savoy. Fast forward to now and Leone continues their legacy of quirky and delicious innovation in the confectionary world. Not only in Italy, where Leone is now the best-selling candy brand, but with an increasingly international reach, from major European countries to Japan and the USA… and now, Australia!
