Perdrisât’s Autumn collection is an olfactory portrait of a big shiny city full of even bigger characters. Each fragrance in this melodramatic collection is vibrant, theatrical and striking. Starfucker is the promising young starlet who has just managed to break into the mainstream, thanks to the the big-wig producer, Daddy, who has just set his sights on new-girl-ingenue Coquette. When Starfucker finds out, she throws a drink in Daddy’s face, Crocodile Tears streaming from her beautiful eyes. Hush Money makes the whole drama go away. It reads as one big soap opera. Or a modern Greek tragedy? Persephone, Zeus, Adonis and Aphrodite?

HOW IT WEARS
Opening with bright, juicy, mandarin, bergamot and mineral notes, the first sniff of Starfucker reminds you of a fruity sparkling rosé with candy floss on top of it – before the warmth of saffron beckons in the heart and base notes. There, the intoxicating tart fruitiness of pomegranate melds with plush, dewy rose to create an intense and rich composition that lasts on the skin all the way to the top, however you get there.

This is one powerful scent! Starfucker is kind of everything you’d expect it to be – loud, unsubtle, and unapologetically femme. This is the fragrance of the new and upcoming Hollywood darling, whose every red carpet photo is immaculate, whose look and aura is as intoxicating as their talent. Callum has said the story of Persephone from Greek mythology partially inspired this fragrance – imagine Persephone as a starlet who gets trapped in hell… otherwise known as Hollywood.
