Perdrisât’s Winter collection urges you to imagine a series of characters, each with their own fragrance, and follow them over the course of an evening. Pretty Boy is fresh out of the shower, flowers in his hand, running late to a first date. Last Word is the is the eccentric, worldly socialite in a two-piece suit, regaling a dinner party audience with their latest hypothesis. Whisky is a close-up of a mouth exhaling cigar smoke – sleepless, making deals, hustling. Bully is the leather jacket clad bad boy on a motorcycle taking you home, and Nightstand is making a French exit – she leaves the soiree without goodbye, to take herself home to do her self-care routine.

HOW IT WEARS
Opening with aldehydes, pink pepper, and lychee, Pretty Boy begins bright and juicy before revealing its heart of fresh green florals. As it dries down, the aldehydes and pink pepper pop up again, making the fragrance feel a little more sparkly and spicy as they dance with the other notes. The cleanliness of cedar combines with fluffy ambrette and musk in the base, which ground Pretty Boy and help it melt into your skin. It has wonderful lasting power, but with a very effortless, subtle, maybe-you-just-smell-like-this-without-fragrance feel.

LORE LOVES
Pretty Boy is definitely for those who want a no-fuss, non-confrontational fragrance, who just want to smell… good. Like a simple white tee, a pair of blue jeans, some fresh trainers. Cool, but without trying too hard. Let’s be honest, Pretty Boy relies on his face card anyway. This is a perfect everyday fragrance for anyone, as it’s so wearable and not too intense, but still sticks around and smells incredible.

Perdrisât

Perdrisât is the brainchild of Callum Mitchell; designed, hand-made and bottled in Melbourne, Australia. Born in 2019 and then released to the public in 2022, the brand name comes from Callum’s maternal grandmother, a woman who to him was the epitome of elegance but at the same time had a wicked sense of humour.

Callum comes from a filmmaking background, which is apparent in every Perdrisât fragrance – each one is a character or a vignette, a closeup scene with vivid imagery. While Callum has his own stories and associations attached to each scent, he invites the wearer to bring their own interpretation to the table, as you would when you watch a film.

With a conceptual, fun and tongue-in-cheek approach to perfumery, Perdrisât doesn’t follow trends or seasons. You never know when a muse might appear, so like writing a poem or taking a portrait, Callum aims to respect the unpredictability of inspiration. There is no telling how many stories there are to share, scenes to capture, or memories to be bottled.

Taking a slow approach to perfumery, Perdrisât aims to avoid overproduction, manufactured in small batches by Callum. Vegan and cruelty-free, each fragrance in the line is formulated with a combination of naturals and safe synthetics (no parabens, sulfates, or endocrine disrupting ingredients). Perdrisât fragrances have a parfum concentration of 22-30% – so on the stronger and longer-lasting side!
