Perdrisât’s Winter collection urges you to imagine a series of characters, each with their own fragrance, and follow them over the course of an evening. Pretty Boy is fresh out of the shower, flowers in his hand, running late to a first date. Last Word is the is the eccentric, worldly socialite in a two-piece suit, regaling a dinner party audience with their latest hypothesis. Whisky is a close-up of a mouth exhaling cigar smoke – sleepless, making deals, hustling. Bully is the leather jacket clad bad boy on a motorcycle taking you home, and Nightstand is making a French exit – she leaves the soiree without goodbye, to take herself home to do her self-care routine.

HOW IT WEARS
Beginning fresh and watery, as soon as you first spritz Last Word, you pick up the cucumber and mint combination in the top notes. It doesn’t take long though before they fade away and the scent starts to get richer, dryer and dirtier – angelica root adds a vegetal, spicy-sweetness to the scent, which is rooted in the complex green, earthen tones of galbanum resin. The vetiver is very prominent in Last Word, with its spicy, leathery, woody facets, perfectly complemented by the resinous warmth of incense. For a green fragrance, Last Word lasts a long time – it’ll definitely have the last word at the end of the day!

LORE LOVES
We how Perdrisât has interpreted vetiver in this fragrance – it’s an easy note to associate with the old, stitched-up, fuddy-duddy fragrances of yesteryear, but the way it appears here is modern and fresh, literally! What makes it so is the angelica root and galbanum resin, which really serve to ground the fragrance… right down in the dirt. It’s definitely for an eccentric socialite – chic and impeccably dressed, who can effortlessly rub shoulders with the elite – but they spend all their spare time with their nose in books about ancient history, folklore and the occult. They are not only the most stylish at the table, but they’re also a gifted conversationalist and always have something interesting to say.
