HOW IT WEARS
Gorseland opens sweet, bright, and intensely fruity, starting with neroli and lemon oil, which announce the arrival of pineapple weed, crab apple, gooseberry and elderflower. As it wears, it becomes more herbaceous and botanical, with a soft bouquet of astilbe, lavender, chamomile and geranium making itself apparent. Then you pick up the gorseflower – creamy, almost coconutty, but moreso softly sweet like hay or honeyed pollen. We don’t get much kush in gorseland, but perhaps it’s just not a skunky kush, its presence felt more in the resinous, sweet dry down that helps the fragrance last for hours and hours on the skin.
LORE LOVES
Gorseland is truly like sunshine in a bottle. It’s sweet without feeling cloying, bright without being too astringent, and balanced perfectly with herbs and greenery. It smells like your first day off in summer, when you walk the long way to meet your friends at the pub, and spend the afternoon sitting in the sun, chatting and sipping cider. We truly think this is one of the crown jewels of the Jorum Studio offering, it cannot help but put a smile on your face!
