Chai Addiction is part of Rahasya’s Magizhchi Collection, inspired by the fleeting everyday moments of joy that anchor us, capturing a different side of India, not as a place on a map, but as a feeling. The kind of joy found in the in-betweens of daily life, that returns to us in flashes, moments, and fragments.
Across India, chai is more than a beverage – it’s a daily ritual, a social glue, a pause button in the middle of chaos. It’s how mornings begin, how conversations stretch into the evening, and how love is often first shared. There’s a reason people say “Come over for chai” instead of “Come over.” It’s shorthand for warmth, familiarity, and time made for each other.
This fragrance is inspired by that very moment: a warm cup passed around between loved ones, the smell of sweet milky tea floating through the air, laughter in the background, and nothing urgent to do.

HOW IT WEARS
Chai Addiction opens with earthy tea leaves, bright cardamom and spicy ginger, like it’s been freshly crushed; the concoction itself just off the stove. The heart softens into creamy vanilla, plush florals, and a milk accord that is typical of desi chai. At the base, smooth Mysore sandalwood, suede and cedarwood ground the fragrance, giving it the earthy warmth that chai is so loved for.
LORE LOVES
This fragrance is both a true representation of a cup of Indian chai, and something else entirely. Once it hits the skin it transcends its realistic depiction of masala chai, and turns into this spicy, creamy musky composition that melts into the skin. Like a cup of chai, it feels warm and cozy, which makes it perfect for colder weather. That said, because of the brightness piquancy of the spices at the top, we think this fragrance can (and should!) be worn all year round.
