There is an explosive energy that shapes the depths of the urban landscape, a cacophony of distortion and vertigo. The city lights, the concrete expanse, all a symphony of black and grey. The concrete jungle. Arise Atomica, a disorienting scent that stings and soothes – inebriates and agitates. Here is the energy and flow of the metropolis, a whirl of grey tones amidst skyscrapers, a daring challenge to push ourselves beyond our limits.
The scent of concrete, speed and air. Atomica opens with an explosive jolt of Elemi Oil and Ginger generating an incense-like effect that is both resinous and peppery. Atomica then unveils a combustive heart of Cypriol and Olibanum that lend spicy accords; Vetiver and Cedarwood add earthiness. At its base Guaiac, Musk and Amber give Atomica its unforgettable evocativeness.

HOW IT WEARS
Atomica opens with a gorgeous and unique mineral tone to it, it hugs the skin initially. The feel is like a futuristic skin scent. As the fragrance settles on the skin the Elemi, Ginger and Woody notes work together beautifully to create a slight incense feel, along with a dry, fresh woody tone. As with all Piguet fragrances, the wear is great. An Eau de Parfum, we get around 8 hours wear on the skin.
We love that Atomica by Robert Piguet walks the tightrope of classic and futuristic in perfect harmony. While adopting some incredibly modern notes, as usual, Piguet fragrances also pay homage to the classic world of perfumery. Always refined regardless of fragrance direction. Atomica really captures that wonderful scent of concrete in an incredibly wearable fashion. Creating a dry, slightly smoky woody fragrance with mineral connotations, we can imagine this is the scent left behind as that sporty black car speeds through the city streets at night, zipping between cars, skidding around corners then disappearing into the night.
