Rivina Humilis, also known as blood berry, is a species of flowering plant in the family Petiveriaceae. Known for its brilliant, blood-colored berries that sparkle like garnets against its emerald foliage it is no wonder this plant has captured the attention of humans and pollinators alike.

HOW IT WEARS
Blood Berry opens with a bright, tart and tantalising top chord of juicy berry that mingles with ruby red grapefruit and an undercurrent of warm spices, teasing and intoxicating like the first bite of a fruit too ripe to resist. As the scent unfolds, it evokes the feeling of a hidden garden where the air is thick with temptation. Sugared rose, crushed geranium leaves are woven around blood cedar and black currant buds in the heart. The dry down is actually quite sweet, with the rose and raspberries right at the front. We find Blood Berry lasts 4-6 hours on the skin, incredible longevity for a 100% natural fragrance!

LORE LOVES
Blood Berry is a lovely point of difference from the rest of the Blood Series, as it’s more sweet and fruity than it is earthy. While it does start super juicy and tart, as it wears it softens, and becomes more sugary, like muddled raspberry coulis in a rosewater cocktail. If you’re a fan of a fruity fragrance that has a real sense of vibrancy and fun about it, we think you’ll love Blood Berry!
